Handviews

Handviews is a portrait of people's opinions through their hands about their current lives and wishes.

Normally, to express an opinion one is dependant on the acquisition of specific communication skills and this is perhaps the principle feature that defines us in the social hierarchy, particularly in a post-modern context.
Handviews embodies the desire to go beyond this linguistic segregation and “find a game everyone can play”, to create a conversation about our lives in which everyone can communicate on an equal footing.

Handviews are like personalised eastern mudras. A mudra can be any handshape that has an intention, therefore anyone can make a mudra as long as there is an intention behind its form. We could say Handviews are like contemporary mudras through which anyone can express a personal view in an universal way.
